President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump have no public events on their schedule at this time. They are expected to remain at the White House in Washington, D.C. while the president and national officials monitor the ongoing federal response to the coronavirus outbreak. Federal and Congressional leaders are working overtime to prevent the spread of the disease, as well as mitigate the social and economic side-effects
Yesterday, the president issued a national emergency declaration authorizing $50 billion to aid federal, state, and local agencies in their efforts to contain the outbreak and treat those who have been infected. Following the announcement, the president also declared Sunday, March 15th, as a national day of prayer to lift up the nation at this time of need. He stated, “No matter where you may be, I encourage you to turn towards prayer in an act of faith.”
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For protection and for God to preserve the health of the president and first lady.
- For wisdom and direction for all of the federal officials working overtime to address the needs of the nation.
- For healing and recovery for the many thousands who are infected.
