For nothing will be impossible with God. – Luke 1:37
If God CAN do anything then why doesn’t He just fix everything? This driving question is an obstacle with which many who are wrestling with God must grapple.
The Bible explains the calamity you see in the world is not a lack of power or attention from God, rather it is the consequence of sin running rampant upon Earth. An insatiable appetite for control and money causes some people to reject God and His kingdom. They commit awful acts and bring great suffering to mankind.
Your Good News today is that the prince of darkness has been faced personally by God through the man Jesus Christ. He confronted the choice common to every person; whether to honor God in life or enthrone self to do things their own way. Jesus bore the assault of the vilest evil the world could offer. Yet in triumph, His tortured physical body was raised up from death into glorious eternal life. God HAS fixed the worlds problem; He overcame forever the wicked one inflicting suffering on Earth.
Is it naïve to believe nothing is impossible with God? Absolutely not, it’s completely reasonable when you see what has already been done. At this moment, the world is waiting for God’s grace to find all of its followers before He brings all things into account and Creation into restoration. Pray today for those unsure or uninformed of God’s victory over sin. And rather than letting the worlds darkness drive you to doubt, let it drive you to praise. The impossible has been done.

17 ‘Ah, Lord God! It is you who have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and by your outstretched arm! Nothing is too hard for you. 18 You show steadfast love to thousands, but you repay the guilt of fathers to their children after them, O great and mighty God, whose name is the Lord of hosts, 19 great in counsel and mighty in deed, whose eyes are open to all the ways of the children of man, rewarding each one according to his ways and according to the fruit of his deeds. 20 You have shown signs and wonders in the land of Egypt, and to this day in Israel and among all mankind, and have made a name for yourself, as at this day. 21 You brought your people Israel out of the land of Egypt with signs and wonders, with a strong hand and outstretched arm, and with great terror.‘
