David returned to the States after a year in Iraq at the beginning of June. He just came home for a weekend and it was so good seeing him again after a year away. I thank the Lord for protecting David while he was in Iraq and for bringing him home safely. I pray that David will surrender his life to God's care and direction and that God will continue to bless him and keep him.
Ryan is home on leave after being in Iraq again. He is having a hard time adjusting to being around his family and friends. Please pray for his mental health. His daughter is a stranger to him and it is really hard on him. She is only six years old and lives out of state with her mother. They are both here with us for the summer visit and need to reconnect.
Stephen just returned to his FOB from a one month patrol along the Afghan / Pakistan border where we could not communicate with him the entire time. He is safe, tired and excited, in that he said he and his fellow troops killed three Taliban insurgents during the patrol. He says he enjoyed his first firefights; he’s a soldier all the way. Please pray for continued protection for him. Also pray for his wife Amanda, now over six months pregnant with their first child (a son, Connor) and doing well. Thank you so much for your intercessions.
Chris will be coming home soon to his five month old son. Pray for the family to be reunited and grow in the Lord.
Brandon is a new dad and just met his son for the first time while home on leave. His son has been very sick since birth and could use your prayers as well. Brandon will be deploying very soon after returning from leave. He has a twin brother in a combat area as well.
Please pray for Angela as she is on her third deployment to Iraq. She is scheduled to return home in three months.
Felicia and her husband Josh have completed their second tour in Iraq and are presently stationed here in the States not very far from her hometown. They have just completed a visit with family and friends and are awaiting being stationed in Germany for their next assignment. They are happy and doing well. Thank you for your continued prayers for them. God bless you in a wonderful way.
